Bahrain Association of Sports Medicine and Sports Science was founded in the year 2020 by a group of Doctors, Scientists, and other experts in the sports and medicine fields. BASMASS is the only association representing Sports Medicine and Sports Science in the Kingdom based on the foundation of contributing to the development and training of sports facilities, athletes, and enthusiasts in the Kingdom of Bahrain in coordination with the relevant government agencies. Taking into account the firm belief of our leadership towards the establishment of BASMASS and the strong track record of the founders of BASMASS we aim to contribute to the development of sports medicine and sports science services, work on developing specialists in sports medicine and sports science and advance their expertise through continuing medical and professional learning programs, conduct education programs for athletes to improve performance and to prevent sports injuries and spread awareness in the society of the importance of sports as a healthy way of life.
